Patch fixes Modern Warfare 2 PS3 problems
As you were, soldier
Infinity Ward has updated the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2, addressing a number of issues plaguing the game's trophy support and multiplayer matchmaking.
On the same day it managed to rack up record-breaking sales, Modern Warfare 2 came under fire from furious PS3 owners citing major problems. Trophies weren't unlocking in the single player campaign and, more egregiously, matchmaking troubles prevented online play.
Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling tweeted about the quick fix on his Twitter thread, stating, "PS3 Status: Patch successful. Trophy Unlocks on PS3 now available in Single Player & Spec Ops. Adding more servers to meet MP demand."
No problems been reported with the Xbox 360 or PC versions.

no it's still not fixed :-(
Still not fixed!!!! This is not cool!!!
woooooooooooo
I want to know who was the rocket scientist who decide that this way of inviting friends would be better than the way it was in COD 4. What a freakin nightmare. First of ll it doesn't work. We found that deleating and re adding your friends works momentarily, but that only lasts until you have to do it again. Also not to mention all the dumb ass invite messages piling up in the received and sent box. Really now, if it wasn't broke, why the hell did you try to fix it ? Put it back to the way it was Einstein !!!!
