Alan Wake due in May next year?

Release of Remedy biggie rumoured

Dodging the 'second Christmas' release period forming between January and March 2010, rumour today has it that Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake could arrive worldwide in May of next year.

Word on this release plan comes from industry publication MCV, who were also told that a large-scale, 'movie-style' promotional drive will back the new game.

Microsoft, of course, refuse to comment on this idle chit-chat, but it makes sense given that Remedy's impressive looking opus has previously been mooted as a spring 2010 release.
