Erik Estavillo - the man behind a smorgasbord of lawsuits, some plausible, most not - has elected to subpoena Bill Gates in a new over the 360's 'red ring of death' issues.

Actress Winona Ryder and Depeche Mode's Martin Gore have already been called in cases by Estavillo, who has been launching far ranging lawsuits linked to the gaming world and its impact on him.

The subpoena demands that founder Gates provides "documents pertaining to the true and relative number of actual units that have been fixed by Microsoft over the past 3 years."

Estavillo has previously taken on Sony, Microsoft and - not to mention over World of Warcraft. He claims gaming has made him an outcast, 'alienated' not to mention the victim of a range of health conditions.
