Milestone for Harmonix biggie

Harmonix today reveal that The Beatles: Rock Band has at last sold in excess of one-million copies worldwide. The figure may have taken a little longer to reach than the companies might have hoped, but given the cost of the instrument packs we assume the cash-haul is still sizeable.

"MTV Games and Harmonix are very pleased with the sales of our Rock Band titles and we expect to continue to see strong sales throughout the holidays across all of our titles," IndustryGamers were told by MTV.

"The Beatles: Rock Band has sold over 1 million units worldwide to date."

Given the demographic to which this game will appeal, it seems likely that sales will continue to burn slowly, especially over the Christmas period.
