Microsoft are looking to expand the kind of services that the can provide and the New York Times has reported that they have been negotiating with on the possibility of ESPN coming to Live's Gold service.

With already operating a successful TV streaming service in the with satellite provider TV a deal with ESPN would be a logical step for Microsoft's US 360 owners.

Any service that ESPN would provide would mean an additional subscription fee over and above the Gold subscription.

Xbox Live's Marc Whitten feels that anything is possible for Microsoft's popular second console, saying of it's service: "Our goal is, really, how can we get as much content there as possible."
