Sony's Qore service a bit hollow
Anyway you slice it
Criticism of Sony's PlayStation-focused video magazine Qore has reached a critical point as subscribers complain about playing a premium for content and demos already available on the web or as pre-order incentives.
Answering critics commenting on a post to PlayStation Blog, executive producer Kevin Furuichi admits that coordinating exclusive content has been difficult and pledges better offerings in future instalments.
"Everybody talks about the same videos being on the internet, but its not the same if you want to see and almost feel what, say, the Battlefield battles look like or the gorgeous render of Tokyo at night in Yakuza 3."
At 24.99 USD for a year subscription, it's understandable complaints are cropping up about the service's value.
