Although Team 17's Worms was/will be released on every format available by publisher Sega, reports from the firm suggest that the British developer's next project (as yet unconfirmed), will not be released on Nintendo's console, as Martyn Brown revealed in this post to the official forums:

"There's no discrimination [against the Cube], just that there isn't too much backing, which is what makes publishers nervous, stops them making agreements to develop GC games etc. I'm certain that W3d is our last GC game since the publishers aren't interested in a cube version of the other game we have in development."

This news was spotted by Eurogamer.net on the font of / Worms gossip that is the developer's forums.
