Well we've had Rez and a couple of other audio/visual based gaming experiences, and now Tubular Bells composer Mike Oldfield has confirmed plans to launch 'Maestro', "the world's first organised 'chill-out' online computer gaming experience", according to today's press release.
Maestro promises to be an online 'world', in which players can immerse themselves in audio and visual environments, as well as communicate, compete or simply relax. "An engaging and hypnotic journey for the senses", mimicking Oldfield's music, is promised.
Oldfield's own website is home to Maestro, and it will be launched on April 12th costing £14.95 to download and play. A demo is also available to check out.
