Various reports from last week suggest that Namco will debut Tekken 5 at this year's E3 show in May, though they have refused to confirm or deny any such speculation, despite rumours suggesting a launch on the PS2 by the end of the year. Much conjecture surrounded the future of the series after the disappointment, both critically and commercially, that was Tekken 4, however it appears that Soul Calibur isn't the only beat 'em up the Japanese firm are pinning their hopes on.
Regardless, with E3 fast approaching we should know soon enough. Until then, then.

I'd like to see more charecters from the previous games put in such as Ogre,Jack,Alex/Roger,Anna,Ganryu,gon etc.
I'd also like to see more modes like tekken ball mode brought back

Tekken 4 was a dissappointment in comparison to VF4. The characters in Tk4 just didn't seem to grow or change, while Vf4 felt like a brand new game.
I'm a fan of both Tekken and VF, but I really hope the next Tekken will have a new and fresh feel to it.
When Tekken 5 come out, I want you to bring back Anna Williams, Bruce Irvin, Jun Kazama to get resurrected after her death. Oh, and please keep my girl Julia Chang on Tekken 5.

i think having a fifth installment of Tekken would be great, as i have enjoyed completing all of the previous Tekkens. i DONT care what anybody says about Tekken 4, that was a brill game

Anna has always been my best character... her dissapearence in T4 was a shock for me since T4 is much more poke-based than other older versions of Tekkens... I am glad that she is back to T5.
I can't wait till Tekken 5 comes out, I think it will be the best game ever, I liked playing it since I was 7, ( yes I am 12, proud of it !) oh, and Ling Xiaoyu is my favorite character, I like her fighting style and everything ( If you try to tell me to get off this site because i'm too young, well your acting just like my mom!! I am not being exposed to too much violence!!! No one can stop me from playing Tekken! No one!) Sorry if I'm over doin it, not only do like Xiaoyu but people tell me I act like her too! Hands down the tekken series is the best fighting series out there and nobody can complain about that but that is not why I am talking I am the most dominant tekken player in New England and I am only 16 years old! Anyone who wants to play me come see me I play with every character and know everyones moves I am a studier and on top of that whatever character my opponent chooses I will choose a player that is the opponents players weakness. I can't be beaten in a series in tekken its just not possible I've been playing tekken since the first PS came out that very same day as far as the characters go they need to stop killing all these old characters such as Armor King, Bruce, Baek, Jun, etc cause its not cutting it even though tekken 4 was great it could have used some of those characters but it doesnt really matter to me cause O can play with any character just as long as the story is good and it makes sense its all gravy with me.

I thought Nina's ending in tekken 4 confirmed she was steves Biological mother, i have strong instinct that kazuya is his father and that would make steve invincible having the ogre and devil genes...
Anna is cool also but nina was always my favorite i love the look of her own game, the original characters are what sets the atmosphere about the game ,(thinks back to when lee and kazuya hired nina to take out heihachi)... the pick up of the rights for the movie is cool too, pitty production starts end of this year huh?

I've gone through various websites and I've found out that Raven, Asuka Kazama (plays like Jun), Weng Fei, Jack-5, Julia Chang, Craig Marduk, King, Yoshimitsu, Bryan Fury, Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu, Bruce Irvin, Anna Williams, Heihachi Mishima, and some fighter that looks like a pirate.
Hwoarang, Paul Phoenix, Christie Montiero (and Eddy), Marshall Law, Lei Wulong, Steve Fox, Nina Williams, and Lee Chaolan will be on the game.
Armor King was killed by Craig Marduk, and Jun and Beak were killed by Ogre, so they won't come back. Devil, Ogre, and a sumo (probably Ganryu) might be on the game. There will be about 34 characters in the U.S. release.

Tekken 4 was a good game really.. But i do agree with Noodle.. upon seeing the game, i searched for Anna, but she wasn't there.. So i received the "shock" of my life.. luckily though, nina is still there so somehow, it isn't that depressing.. i am so glad though that she is in the 5th installment.. wonder what her clothes would be?

I like playing Ling Xiaoyu and Julia Chang in the tekken series!!!
I know there strength and weaknesses.
Ling Xiaoyu: Ling moves are basicly all about quickly hitting and countering the opponent faster than the blink of the eye.
Ling's Abilities are: Speed and Accuracy/ Weakness is : ????
Julia Chang: Julia's moves are slow but affective she uses powerful attacks to defeat the opponent quickly.
Julia's abilities are: Strength and powerful hits/ weakness is : Speed and accuracy.
Listen I know some people play with Julia and say she can beat Ling but I heard this from a whole lot of people. They say Ling would give it to Julia ( hey i don't know so don't get mad at me Julia Fans, I like playing as Julia but that's just what people say!

TEKKEN 5 IS THE BOMB. THEY FINALLY GOT DEVI JIN IN THERE.HOW THE HELL DID JINPACHI EMEREGE FROM WITHIN Heihachi Mishima THATS WIERD. MY GIRL IS ANNA IS BACK! SHE STILL NEED'S SOME EXTENTIONS. THEY NEED TO HAVE 10 NEW CHARACTERS FOR TEKKEN 6. AND A WHOLE NEW TEAM OF CHARACTERS( ABOUT 19). BUT STILL KEEP JIN, JUN,KAZUKA, NINA, HORWANG,BEAK AND 5 OTHERS ETC. THEN JUST IMAGINE TTT2. THEY SHOULD HAVE THAT OUT BY PLAYSTATION 3.
YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE WOULD BE A GOOD GAME. TEKKEN AND VF VS. STREETFIHTRER AND MORTAL COMBAT. IF I WAS WITH NACMO I COULD BRING THEM SUCESS. MAYBE ONE DAY. Anna Williams is back...same with Baek Doo San (everyone thought he was dead or something) then theres Roger Jr ( he has very cool looking moves compared to that stupid kangaroo in previous tekkens) umm...Devil Jin is included and Jinpachi Mishima (i dont know the story behind this evil man, but he looks like a humongous version of Heihachi but more powerful--and he is the boss) Bruce Irvin, Wang, and Panda/Kuma are back!!!! Oh and since Jun is dead we have a much better character who uses her fighting style and such....ASUKA--she is tiiight lol. then theres that NINJA guy-Raiden (like hayabusa from doa--but has more teleport moves) All i could say is that the new characters in tekken 5 are another good selection (at least better than T4) you could do mid-air grab!!! only big characters though like King and Marduk...or maybe some fighters too... THERE ARE MORE THAN 27 characters!!! meticulously detailed!! uses a new graphic engine!! better looking arenas/stages!!!-compared to dull tekken 4 open environment... another 3-returning fighters are possible....will it be Kunimitsu? Ganryu? BLAH.....Blah....
