EA sued over Knockout Kings
Former featherweight champ takes on gaming heavyweight
Former Nicaraguan boxing champ Alexis Arguello is suing the world's largest games publisher Electronic Arts for using his likeness without permission in the Knockout Kings series of videogames. Nintendo and Sony have also been named in the suit, with Arguello claiming he had no knowledge of his inclusion - alongside other champions of the past such as Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, and Prince Naseem.
Arguello was a light and featherweight champion in the 1970s, and claimed he only learnt about the use of his image in the game when a young fan asked him to autograph a copy of it in 2001. More on this old champ's last fight as we get it.
