With Nokia having all but officially revealed a new iteration of the N-Gage, it seemed only a matter of time before we'd begin receiving small nuggets of information on mark two of the much-maligned mobile phone / gamedeck hybrid. Such titillation begins in earnest today with this most convincing forum post, which reportedly shows images of the new handheld provided by a Nokia insider.

If these shots prove to be true (and they do look highly convincing), the forum poster also reveals that the new is a bit smaller than the original, includes some form of camera function, a new non-Taco position for calls, and possibly a cartridge slot which means the battery doesn't have to be removed. As these shots appear to be public domain we've re-produced them here for your viewing pleasure. Only time will of course tell if these blurry images are the real deal, so view with an air of healthy skepticism.

Update: I'm informed that the new N-Gage will not in fact have a camera, and that the thusly titled option on the screen is in fact something to do with an older OS the unit pictured was running. Make of this what you will - all will be unveiled at Nokia's press conference tomorrow, hopefully.
