If confirmation of a brand new version of the N-Gage handheld wasn't enough, Nokia's press conference today has also brought a new game to our attention: a new version of Activision's Call of Duty. This cinematic WWII shooter will be out in the fourth-quarter of 2004, and promises squad-based FPS action for the N-Gage.
As well as making use of the N-Gage Leaderboard, Call of duty promises head-to-hand multiplayer battles via Bluetooth, in a game steeped with the gritty atmosphere of WWII. "Call of Duty brings multiplayer mobile warfare to the next level with a full 3D experience," enthused Nokia's Pasi Pölönen, while Activision's Dave Anderson added: "The addition of wireless connectivity brings a distinctive competitive experience that handheld gamers will truly enjoy anytime, anywhere."
More action on this wee beautie as we get it.
