EA support DS and PSP
But Sony hold the GBA's true successor, apparently

Whilst EA will continue to support the GBA until March 2005, the firm's top brass revealed next-gen portable support in a conference with industry analysts yesterday. As expected, both new handheld devices from Sony and Nintendo (the PSP and the DS), will be supported by the publisher, though CEO Larry Probst did suggest he expected "the PSP to be as big as the Game Boy at some point in the future." Something which won't cheer Nintendo we're guessing.
EA were cagey when questioned concerning the scheduling of DS titles, however Probst did reveal that EA plans to release between for and six titles for the PSP during 2005. Indeed, whilst this support isn't quite stellar, it does cover the period in which Sony plan to debut the handheld (and about three months beyond), showing EA's intention to be present at the launch. A vote of confidence for Sony's new gizmo we'd suggest.

hello every one i am you friend
I think that Ea should support the DS. Just think about it, how many kids do you think OWN a GameBoy Sp? Millions right...and how many people bought and EA title. Well multiply that 12 times what that is ( because of the new technology and games). If EA dosen't support this system they are seriously out of there freakin minds.
i think DS will kick ass
mainly because if u want 2 play a game over the wireless with your mates u only need one game card not 4
