In a bid to garner further gaming credibility, Telewest have put their hands in their pockets once again, this time to sponsor a new gaming league on their servers. This exclusive league will champion Blueyonder’s game servers, whilst pitting leading UK development studios against one another. The eventual winner of Serie C++ will be rewarded with an Nvidia GeForce 4 card for every member of the team. The lucky beggars.

Murray Hume of Blueyonder commented: “If the participation of some of the biggest names in UK games development in this league means that a few more games are going to miss their Christmas deadlines this year, then that is but a small price to pay.

“On a more serious note, we are glad to see so many of the UK’s top games talents strutting their stuff on the Blueyonder servers – long may it continue.” More news on this can be found through the Blueyonder website. Lionhead, EA Europe, Refelections, Crawfish and many more top-developers are said to be competing.
