A total of twenty new games will be made available via the AOL Games channel as part of a new relationship with the world's largest games publisher EA - which will see games featured on the firm's Pogo.com site heading to AOL shortly. Nine games will debut immediately, whilst a further eleven will be made available over the summer. Games on offer include backgammon and pool.
All AOL members will be able to play these fun diversions (including "Spades, an online card game for up to four players, Pop Fu and Squelchies, two interactive puzzles, and classics such as bingo and solitaire"), though Broadband customers are promised an enhanced visual and audio experience.
AOL UK Director of Entertainment Kate Hall commented: "Playing games online is an extremely popular activity amongst our members, particularly on broadband and Pogo.com games are an excellent addition to our current portfolio. On AOL, community activity is absolutely key - the fact that players can interact, swapping hints and tips while they play, enhances the gaming experience and will further contribute to the success of AOL Games."

this is 06-24-o4 You have shut down on this day to do your maintance and since then I am getting into the pogo but can not get into any game room. I have reboot many many times and talk to aol. I am a member and do not understand why I am haveing this problem. I like to have this taken care of.

Are the servers down all the time? Playing the pogo games is my relaxation. Every time I get on to play the server is down for maintenance. Have been in the middle of winning badges and the servers go down. What is going on? Got my money for a membership and now I can't play? I'm totally discusted and I really miss my games.

Pogo is giving me a headache. I can't get in to play some games. I get a message saying I don't have enough memory even though I have 512K and there is no reason for the problem. I tried to ask questions but can not even get the question to send. What is going on

I have been a customer of AOL for several years now and I just became a member of pogo and paid 19.99 for a year of service. I would like to know why I am not getting these services and want to know how I get my money back as I think right now I don't even want to be a member of AOL any longer due to the fact that when you pay for something you should get what you pay for and not what they want to let you have....You got my money now I would like to receive the services..Thank you
Are Pogo prizes for real? I played repeatedly, but cannot win squat. I think the prizes are just a come-on to get people to play games, only to be faced with a constant barrage of ads....this is awful.
I went broadband about 6 weeks ago and the plan I chose included aol membership. This was a big plus for me since I had been an aol member for 7-8 years and loved playing Mahjong Garden. Now, when I try to get on the game, I simply cannot get past the "Play now" screen. I click this as I always have and nothing happens at all. I am just about ready to have Time-Warner come get their Road Runner service and just go back to my plain ole aol. It has been frustrating and going on since I signed up with Time Warner. Road Runner, indeed. My computer has never been slower, my favorite game cannot be accessed, and my bill has just about doubled (for absolutely nothing). Do you have any idea why I cannot get past that screen? I am losing faith here.

I have been trying to log onto pogo for the past two months, with no success. I get as far as the advertising. It then starts clocking never going into the game. I have let this go for almost an hour before stoping. Please let me know what to do.
I've been playing pogo for 7 years now...cash in my tokens to win cash prizes every day, week, month, never won a penney??? are these games legit or have I wasted my time? Is there any regulation involved to make sure these are fair?
Pogo has been down this morning for a long time
I am upset by the new rules of pogo. I have been an AOL account holder for a long time. We have an agreement with AOL through General Motors. Now, all of a sudden, if your not a pogo club member, you cannot enjoy the full benefits of Pogo games. I have a certain game and game room I like to play but now I am being kicked out of the room everytime there is intermission. I don't Want to join the popo club so now I am being punished.
AOL may not realize how many customers they obtained with their partnership with GM..

If you can't log in to pogo with AOL try opening the Internet explorer and log in and play with that. Just open the E,with a circle around it. Try that way also with MSN do the same thing.
Try to delete the Java files off your comptuer also for the game(s) your having trouble with.
In Internet Explorer go to Tools,Internet options, In the middle click SETTINGS. Then click VEIW OBJECTS. You will then see a list of pogo games. Delete the game your having trouble with. Then try to play again.

as a long standing member of pogo i wanted to warn anyone thinking of becoming a member DONT DO IT since aol pogo and EA have joined forces they have no customer service this hasnt only affected me but many ea can now flag block and cancel (with no refund) your membership with no explanation at all and if you try to appeal you get an automated service that just sends you the same message over and over again.... they just put the price up to $39.99 or somewhere round that price and you get nothing for it..... try another game channel .... good luck

It takes forever for me to get on to play battle Phlinx. Says to download JAVA. I have it! I can play several games, freezes, get booted, sound freezes, it's becoming a major headache to even try to play. Needless to say, I won't be renewing my pogo membership. I won't pay for games I can't get into.

Our situation with pogo is no matter if we go there through AOL's browser OR the Internet explorer.......it just boots the page off the internet all together and back to a desktop mode....This has gone on for 2 weeks. Looks like I'm not the only one with problems with Pogo.. I was able to get into the games fine until I let my laptop set for one week..And now I can't get into the games (paying customer) and of course pogo doesn't have the answers...They should not be in business if they continue to treat customers like they have myself and others.
In the last 2 weeks, Pogo is a nightmare. The screens freeze even after all maintenance to clear the modem and the internet and Java junk. This is obscene for a paying customer and THEY ARE NO HELP DAMMIT!

Pogo customer service is the worst. Same automated answer each time and no help! I am tired of the games I like freezing and crashing and it is getting worse every day. I believe they lie about non members winning prizes or anyone really winning at all. Do yourself a favor and find a new game site.
