Planet Moon, the talented team behind the disgracefully overlooked Giants: Citizen Kabuto, and more recently LucasArts' Armed and Dangerous, have revealed that they only plan to develop games for the handheld platform for the foreseeable future, eschewing the cut-throat world of and console development.

The decision was reportedly taken after of Armed and Dangerous failed to live-up to expectations, sparking a major strategic rethink at the British developer. "The current market is hard on creativity," Planet Moon producer Aaron Loeb explained to GameSpot, "be it original titles or titles that depart too far from the beaten path, but the PSP will enable a developer like us to make cutting edge games quickly, alleviating the challenge all small developers currently face."

Of course, Planet Moon are still taking something of a gamble in adopting an unreleased format, but Loeb clearly hopes that the innovative titles they're planning will garner the support of Sony - as such original titles are deemed good for the new format: "Sony has already made it clear to the that they want new ideas on the PSP. This is not only good for Planet Moon, but good for the industry and good for gamers."

One Planet Moon PSP title is already known to be in development, and we'll bring you more on this in due course.

ok listen up people since the psp vs ds fourum is full of comments i have decided to compile up the results of it and find out which will really win. Most of the people who buy the system are goin to post here about it on the psp vs ds fourum, so this is a pretty accurate(i think) way of portraying which will win. I tried to give one tile per person, so if you posted twice, you will only be counted once(although i might have made 1 or 2 mistakes). so people, here are the results:

    PSP: 31
    DS: 68
    NEWTRAL: 42
    OTHER: 59

so as you can plainly see, the overall winner is the nintendo ds, so stop postin comments on how the PSP is so good!

one more thing, people who say nintendo is for kids, please realize that most kids dont go online, but the ds is the winner, so ds winns with teens, not psp.

    the argument is officialy over

    I wanna see the psp
    but I agree
    DS would probably be better
...unless they change the psp or sumthin
    Nintendo gamecube wasn't that good
    But I think the
    DS will really change things

I guess they're not going by "gameboy" anymore

rope heels, the psp has its own kind of media. their called umd's. they are like small dvd's that are encased in plastic. I can see why you would want to run normal disc on it, but that would make the system to bulky.
