Lionhead and satellite developer Big Blue Box's much-hyped exclusive - which is being published by - will be released in North America this September, and in come October - the usually cagey has affirmed through their official site.

Whether Fable will live up to the lofty expectations its hyperbole has engendered will be another matter entirely, however the game did please the crowds at E3 and given its appearance in playable form, we can at least rely somewhat on the dates offered. Here's hoping Lionhead can make it to the finish line on time.
