Whilst Codemasters 'Ultimate Racing Simulator' was originally announced only for the Xbox and PC, the British publisher will shortly be bringing the game to the PS2, by 'popular demand' apparently. TOCA Race Driver 2 will be heading to the PS2 in October, and we're reliably informed that it will even offer PS2 Online support for eight racers.

Expanding upon the PC and Xbox version, the meatier PS2 edition will boast a new save-replay function, 99 new track/car combinations, and a brand new course in Catalunya. A new extra-tough difficulty level is also on the cards, completing what looks like a damn fine game all-round.
