Infinium Labs has courted a lot of controversy in the past with many initially believing the entire Phantom project to be a hoax. An article on hardware site Hard[OCP] that questioned the past business dealing of some Infinium Labs executives and the validity of the Phantom console itself prompted a rash of suit and countersuits being woven around. These issues are now in the past, and with Infinium Labs making a surprise appearance at this year's E3 with actual Phantom hardware it now looks all but certain that there will soon be a new player in the hotly contested console wars.
