Whilst nothing is official at this stage, it appears Dutch developer Guerrilla are already working on a sequel to the Sony PS2 exclusive shooter Killzone, despite the original not being due until the final quarter of this year. Confidence is clearly high then that the supposed 'Halo-beater' will do just that, and Sony must be impressed thus far if numero two has already been agreed.
According to a report on IGN then, not only was a Killzone 2 design brief spotted in the developers offices, but one employee is even rumoured to have told the publication's reporter that the sequel would not be coming for the PS3 - suggesting something in the not too distant future could be on the cards. Indeed, the breadth of the first instalment apparently calls for sequels - and it might be that Sony plan to capitalise on the series' expected popularity sooner rather than later.

in killzone 2 online i wouldnt recomend vehicles. but if you could put some turrets in some levels that would be sweet, esspecialy for defend and destroy......halo sucks!

Much better than Halo and halo 2!!!! The graphics are better and it is much more realistic. ALL they have to put in the game to make it better is vehicles that can be driven like halo.

killzone 2 should melt the face off of anyone who buys it..that is if it is anything like the first installment. i hope guerilla is working on getting some of the glitches out. for example the characters faces will sometimes blur and ive exsperienced parts of levels totally disappearing for a short period of time. if they include more weapons and keep the realism of the first one, killzone 2 will be on my shelf for sure. totally kickass game that deserves a kickass sequel....

After I beat the game I wanted to play Battlefields. I loved it and it helped to hone my skills for online play. Delta Creek, Canyon Crossing, SOuthern Hills, Beachhead, Core Shaft, Vektan slums was about it for maps though. When they make Killzone 2 they should add a bunch more maps to play on.
i heard that killzone 2 might have some vehicles in it i hope so
i think killzone should be more realistic when it comes to bullet damage ,you should beable to shoot dead bodies ,blow holes in walls,be able to see bullet holes in the people you kill ,and there should be body parts flying when you shhot some one with an explosive weapon.its not that im a sicko or anything.
i just want it to be as real as possible.

freakin lame fanboys. halo & halo 2 r good, but ive also herd kilzone kicks ass. ill have to have a play. anyone who rekons halo/halo2 suck should get their brains checked. they are both brilliant. just enjoy both and dont dismiss a game for no reason.

I've played both Halo games as well as Killzone. And they all have their merits. The sad thing is that video was all pre-rendered. Hopefully the final game will be that good.
Also you all shouldn't be bashing one system or another. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Unless the system is absolutely terrible, like the 3do, then it's not worth wasting breath, time, and bandwidth for bashing.
Still it did look good. But let's see if they can deliver.

Watched the e3 trailer of KZ2 for ps3...OH MAH GAWD! This trailer alone turned two trash-talkin, Playstation-bashing Halo freaks into Sony men. Because of the advanced processing of the ps3, you have never seen a battlefield look like the one on KZ2. So much is going on at one time, not to mention some really funny reactions by the Helghast (i.e. You shoot a Helghast off a balcony, where he flips over it, then grabs onto the railing and tries to pull himself up, only to be hit by another falling Helghast and fall to their deaths). Not to mention...the Helghast soldiers look SO MUCH better in KZ2 (mainly because of their new trenchcoats). One more word. Flamethrowers.

GTA San Andreas is the best game for the PS2. When the next GTA comes out for the PS3 it will be the best game ever. Killzone is cool and so is Killzone 2. Halo is cool and Halo 2 is cool. only problem with killzone is you can't get dual weapons, unlike halo 2.
