The E3-unveiled Unreal game engine 3 will be used in a brand new title coming from specialists Bioware, it was revealed today. The game is said to be well under way already, and is a brand new 'IP' - otherwise known as a game not based on an existing franchise or licence.

"The Unreal Engine has powered some of our favourite games, and we're looking forward to upholding the great history of this engine with an awesome game from BioWare," commented CEO Dr. Ray Muzyka. "BioWare will continue to independently develop our own cutting-edge engine technology for future titles!" affirmed fellow joint CEO Dr. Greg Zeschuk.

Apart from large quantities of back-patting in the official press release, little more is known on this brand new title other than its technology, at least at this juncture. We are however hopeful of further news from the Canadian developer soon.
