Though both and VU Games remain quiet on the release date of 2; it now seems likely that the game's publisher will (sensibly) try to get the game out before Christmas, tapping into high demand with a marketing push during this key season for the industry. Whilst the game is still being tested, and isn't officially gold, we are told that release dates for November 23rd in North America and November 26th in are being whispered to retailers. Such news was essential for VU, given the for shelf space during the most important season in the business.

Hopefully, official word on these November dates will be forthcoming from VU soon, as the first reviews featured in Gamer, are due next week - reportedly awarding this massive sequel a whopping 96%. Which isn't too shabby. We're only left wondering now whether European users of will get the game on the 23rd or 26th. VU, Valve, someone, can you fill me in?

The question is, with review code out there, how long will it take for this to surface on the P2P networks? I wager sometime before November, that's for sure.
