Nintendo's next console - dubbed 'Revolution' in some quarters - will be on show in some form at E3; though what form exactly, remains undecided. A spokesperson, Ken Toyoda, told a Japanese gaming magazine that E3 is still considered the platform's 'launchpad', and are "deliberating if we should feature the actual console, visuals, or simply illustrate the concept behind it" at the May expo. The PR chap added that Nintendo are keen not to give away too much about the new console, but do definitely plan to include it in some form. The will of course feature hugely in the company's LA offering.

Toyoda added that Ninty have "absolutely no intention of approaching our new with the intent of making it an extension of the line of hardware we've released up to this point," which continues the big N's 'Revolution'-ary talk; which has previously hinted that the new system may go avent garde and radical like the DS and its unusual properties. Finally, a Nintendo specific launch event was ruled out for the new system, and the rep slammed and Microsoft's technical toutings of the past, stating that "fun isn't something that can be expressed in figures". We'll keep you posted, thanks to Eurogamer.net for this spot.
