Britsoft publisher today revealed their latest ‘secret weapon’, which they hope will help make their forthcoming sequel IGI 2: Covert Strike a winner when it’s released this November.

None other than SAS trooper turned Novelist Chris Ryan, has be recruited as a Consultant on the game. Ryan will apparently advise the game’s designers on matters of realism, including technique and the arsenal; not to mention the AI. He commented: “IGI 2: Covert Strike’s open approach for the player to tackle situations by or firepower makes for excellent tactical gameplay and it’s great to be involved. I’m concentrating on the authenticity of the 30-plus real world firearms featured in the game to ensure they operate as they really should”.

More news as we get it.
