Resident Evil 5 unveiled
Producer unofficially points to RE5
The latest edition of US magazine EGM has revealed what we all kind of assumed any way; namely that Capcom are currently plotting Resident Evil 5. Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi revealed the news: "We are going to do a Resident Evil 5, of course, but as for exactly what it will be like... that's something we're busy thinking about right now...[RE4] is the start of a new storyline. In other words, when you think of it that way, then it's safe to say that RE5 will naturally proceed from where RE4 left off."
With RE4 being ported to the PS2 as we speak, it is expected that number five in the series may go multi-platform again, after recent instalments were exclusive to the GameCube. Numero four is due out in Europe imminently and looks like it'll give a good indication of where number five is heading if Kobayashi's statement can be taken on face value.

If Umbrella were to mix the Las Plagas with a classic virus, I think that The story would become a mix of old and new. This is something I would like.
Ps. so far all of the RE games have come out or have been remade on the cube so I think it is supposed to come out on the GC under contract w/ Capcom

the one thing i know is unbrella is gone, so there wont be any mixing, and plus that is why they added the las plagas, cause there was no traditional unbrella virus.
i think they should put sherry from RE2 in the game and they should have claire or jill return but im not sure about the story of the game but it would be cool to see claire and jill together along with old characters!!!
i think it would be cool to see old characters and some new characters kicking zombies asses together. If sherry is in the game she would be alittle older and she would be about 17 or 18 and she should help fight the zombies with claire and jill. claire and jill have never been in the same game so it would be cool to see them together since they are popular characters. Also they should bring back some people from RE:outbreak in the game and they could help in the game to fight another virus!!!!!!!!!
forget a new plot wot eva happened 2 all the pld characters wesker, steve burnsides & billy connley. they cant just vannish you really need to start tieing up loose ends go back 3 years befor no. 4 it would confusingly make sense & for get the coins add more action moves and a base ball bat.

Being an avid RE fan Since installment #2, I think that the only way the series can go is up. With the exeption of the Survivor series, the Gamboy & GameCom games; the Series is a cult classic. And with the changes they made with RE4; they managed to keep it fresh and new. If you really went through the game you would know that at the end of the game. Ada has taken Las Plagas, and Wesker, Ada, and Krauser are trying to restore Umbrella's former status. So I think that the next resident evil is one of the ex- S.T.A.R.S. trying to infiltrate Umbrella's new base. I think that the RE 4, 5, & 6 are ging to be Umbrella's return...
She needed the virus sample to give to Wesker. Wesker is trying to rebuild Umbrella. The next installment ov Resident evil 5 is the resurection of Umbrella inc. If you dont believe me then play the Assignment Ada mini game. It makes total sense.

Resident Evil 5 will be released on the next generation consoles, Gamecube 2 or Playstation 3. The release date is around May 2006.
Confirmation: Resident Evil 5 will come out only for GameCube Revolution on May 14.th, 2006.
The European (PAL) version will be in stores in Summer, 2006.
I would like to see Capcom make a game with the same new system but going through the other characters stories e.g. what were jill, chris, claire and barry doing in the six years leading up to resi 4

Resident Evil 5, if it is to come out for the Nintendo Revolution, I'll be happy because you know what? Nintendo NEEDS a lot of good quality games for the future, like Resident Evil 4 just did for it. I'm guessing Umbrella will be re established from Wesker and Ada. It would be cool if they combined the Las Plagas with the T-Virus, and G-Virus. And Leon should be in it also, he is pretty much the coolest character in all of the Resident Evil games, no doubt about it. Damn though, HE should have made a move with Ashley that woulda been cool. :-D

Hey ipod junkie the plagas were in resident evil before number 4 they apeared in resident evil 1-3 just look at the notes found through out the levels in monster descriptions it says that virus that created them just go to game faqs and do a look up the monters for resident evil one. ps. They should make resident evil five that you go through the ranks ganing levels from monster to monster you could go from being a zombie to a licker to a hunter!!!!!!

RE 5 I think they should keep the story line but add in some help from old characters. need more info on the bulding back up of umbrella and what about luis and his sighting of the t virus sample in the lab i know that in adas minni game you gather plaga samples but in the real game they never specifie what sample she stole . i say make it darker and more like the originals and keep it on the nintendo platforms.
I hope Resident Evil 5 comes to Nintendo because the whole series has been on that system already. Plus if we've enjoyed Resident Evil 4, we'll be ready for way more on Resident Evil 5.
Resident Evil 5 should include Leon in some way obviouslly because he knows whats going on...my best guess would be he needs some help and calls back on an old friend from six years ago(Claire) maybe Claire will even get Chris in the loop, i think that would make an interseting story, no? P.S. that mixing idea has got to be the dumbest thing ever if you know anything bout chemistry the chances of the viruses working together is 0-1so forget about it...it would make for a pretty cool zombie though
RE5 will be multiplatform for sony and nintendo.
Since Capcom broke the contract between them and nintendo (supposedly they were to make the official resident evil series only for GC, and RE4 is already being ported for PS2)
they should make it for both systems. sony and nintendo they will make more money.. and it will keep the fans happy.

Personally i would hope that they make a re game where you can actually be evil. I mean come on please tell me that at least once you just wished you could be that bad ass you love to hate? I think that we will proberbly see more new characters than old in 5 , I think the only reason that they kept a number of the classic characters in 4 was because of the dramatic shift in gameplay.
With the zombies gone, capcom had to come up with a device to keep it linked to the resident evil franchise namely Leon and Ada.
although I think we will proberbly see the return of Wesker.

If you think about now, Every game from RE1 to RE4, every character has been in at least 2 RE games.
Maybe there be a change and have them all in RE5 having ther stories intertwine making the game even bigger and better and sending the series off with a bang. (Not saying its the last game, but it would be a good way to go out)

I hate to burst your bubles but the producers of resident evil stated that resi 4 is the start of a new storyline, so i think the parasites are here to stay. Don't get me wrong a loved the zombies in the old games, they were more interested in terms of storylne. but gameplay wise the crazed villigers brought a new dimension to the game and were more challengeing.
As for bringing all the old characters back, im not sure thats gonaa happen, i think we'll get two; my money's on Chris (he has still yet to have his own second adventure, as veronica wasn't really his story) and Wesker. I think we will see some newer characters that will step into the limelight in future games in the series.
Oh and aliens?! this is resident evil, not alien vs preditor!

i think the following lol RESIDENT EVIL STORYLINE : ada n wesker have a hideout in sum deserted haunted mansion n leon is leaving to go there and retrieve the sample ! they shud have 2 discs , each 1 havin a different ending . 1 disc shud be chris's adventure , the settin of the game is completely different and he is goin to the mansion to settle a score wiv wesker , meanwhile , another disc shud be leon's adventure were he goes to the mansion to retrive the sample from ada !!! i dono but dat wat i think the game shud be about !!! and leon and chris shud meet up for the first time in the game !-+

Yo dudes,I have an idea.Remember the very very 1st RE game on the ps1 in 1996,where it showed the S.T.A.R.S. Team as real actors,Charlie played Chris and Gregory played Barry.But the voice acting was hurreandous!!!I think it'll be cool if they featurre RE5 like
that,but have the voice acters in place and record over the real actors voice',there was only 7 film sequenc' and 12 CG sequence.Did u know why they couldn't film it at a real location or more film clips?Because they didn't have enough money to build a studio or find a mansion.And hey,why not bring in a new charcter to the world of Resident Evil,Chris Redfields older brother:Nick Redfield!Have Nick take the lead villian alondside Ada and Wesker as he wants to get Chris!

Then former stars members start some new group and go and try to stop the outbreak you pick your charector and get two diffrent stories you can track down wesker and end it or go after ada. Timeframe I solute you!I love the idea of feauring RE5 in film sequence like the 1st RE game,but I was wondering out of curiosity were those actors film stars?Or were they the king of actors that would be in reconstrucion filming like FBI Files and History documenterys or were they just ordainary people?
Not really sure,I think those actors were just ordainary people and were in reconstruction filming e.g. The Michael Jackson Trial or FBI Files.But they DEFINATELY were not film stars.
