This French developer is most famed for its innovative sci-fi Omikron, an intriguingly unusual game which is now mostly remembered for the vocal talents of the Thin White Duke, David Bowie. So it's not very surprising to learn that one of the two new titles that have reached the end of the design stage on their way to the next-gen consoles will be the sequel to this innovative title. Omikron 2 will be keenly anticipated by discerning gamers while the new franchise, Infraworld, will as yet mean nothing to anyone outside of Quantic Dreams.

Both titles are being developed for the 2 and PS3, along with the trusty PC, and will utilise Quantic Dreams' new proprietary 3D engine. Infraworld will take advantage of a recently signed partnership with physics specialists Novodex, (who are working on the Unreal 3.0 engine) while Quantic Dreams are also in talks with other major middleware providers with specific attention being given to enhancing AI capabilities.
