An unheard of US developer is currently undertaking against and their owners Tiger Telematics, alleging breach of contract. Handheld Games believe they had a deal with Tiger to develop a new game for the recently launched Gizmondo handheld, but that Tiger and Gizmondo Europe have reneged on the deal, turning to a rival developer.

The title in question was supposed to be Chicane: Jenson Button Racing, based on an official licence recently acquired by Gizmondo. Handheld Games claim they were left awaiting kits and licensing information which never arrived, and believe the title to be under development elsewhere now. Damages in excess of $75,000 are being sought for breach of contract, and the case was filed in Seattle last month. More on this soon.
