We're certainly intrigued by Ritual's forthcoming first-person sequel to SiN, which will be distributed via Valve's content delivery system Steam. The sequel to SiN will come in episodic form too, another brave move from Ritual - who have today confirmed that SiN Episodes: Emergence will be out this autumn costing "well below $19.99". In a recent interview, a Ritual spokesman also revealed that several episodes in the sequel may be bundled together and sold through traditional retailers in boxed form, presumably at a normal price point.

Multiplayer SiN 2 is also an important consideration, with the developer confirming it is "definitely near the top of our to-do list and we have several unique ideas." Community feedback is being sought regarding this opportunity, and we're expecting news on this side of the title through SinEpisodes.com.

"We like to follow an iterative design approach and everything moves more quickly when the company can make final decisions instead of having to wait for feedback from the publisher," said the developer on the benefits of self-funded development. It was also revealed that feedback would be heavily considered in-between episodes of the game, "if a feature is well-received by gamers, we might expand its role in the game, whereas aspects that aren't liked can be changed or phased out completely."

SiN Episodes also promises that whilst each chapter of the game Ritual releases will be "contributing to the overall story arc," the developer also promises that each will include a self-contained story, offering gamers a satisfying ending. More as we get it
