Jessica Alba dabbles in videogames
Hot.
Sin City hotty Jessica Alba has revealed today her involvement in a new videogaming project, which apparently takes its inspiration from the popular X-Games alternative sporting events. The actress' involvement actually comes as something of a surprise, as it is rare to see such a cross-over, though avid gamer Vin Diesel did start his own developer which went on to help create the excellent Chronicles of Riddick. Alba revealed her gaming interests in a recent interview with MTV at the premier of Into the Blue, at which she hinted at the X-Games, non-violent theme, and the ability to create a unique in-game character.
"It's not like a real X-Games sport yet; it's kind of on the brink of becoming one, I think," she explained. "And I don't want to talk about it, because I want to come out with the game and show people what it's all about." So, any ideas? Anyone? No, me neither, but I'm intrigued. Alba will voice and model for one of the title's in-game characters too, and will apparently act as a sort of guide for new players. Maybe.
Quite how into gaming Alba is remains a mystery, but her involvement in the unannounced project is certainly more than cursory, the actress commenting: "I'm going to pick seven cities in the world, because I travel so much and I think there's so many cool, creative people in the world; I want tap into that, and I want to make it racially diverse."
More of Alba soon. We hope.
