Xbox 360 launch line-up listed
Confirmed list for December 2nd
The European launch line-up for the Xbox 360 console has been revealed today and the confirmed December 2nd list resembles the November 22nd North American kick-off pretty closely. Rare's two creations, Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero, are perhaps the cream of the crop, whilst Project Gotham Racing 3 is also sure to impress. Call of Duty 2 is also said to be looking rather ace, whilst Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and Sega's Condemned will also be on the shelves. We can confirm that Quake 4 has been confirmed for the debut, having made the grade set by Microsoft in the nick of time. Activision's GUN will also be arriving in time.

Several of the launch titles may be on shelves prior to the official launch of the console, something even Microsoft have confirmed, with some games already spotted stateside ahead of the US launch. FIFA 06, Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 will be providing the sporting entertainment come December 2nd, with EA also delivering Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the next-generation system. Ubisoft and Peter Jackson's King Kong game will also be present on day one, as will Amped 3 from 2K Games. The original Amped was a first-party launch title for the original Xbox, then created by Microsoft, interestingly.
Dead or Alive 4, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Ridge Racer 6 have sadly not made the grade for launch day, however Microsoft are promising that these titles should hit shelves in the weeks 'following' launch. It's unclear if this will fall before Christmas, however. On the accessories front, a number of colourful 'faceplates' will be available from day one, as will the hard-drive, wired/wireless controllers, a battery pack, a wireless network adapter and a media remote. There's also a headset and innumerable cables going on sale, we're told. Apparently, 12 to 15 'smaller' titles will be available for download from the Xbox Live Arcade from day one too.
More as launch nears.
