If recent press appears to have been stacked heavily in favour of the and the Wii, this year's Tokyo Game Show could perhaps mark the beginning of Sony's push to claw back a lot of lost PR territory. We've already had a number of new game announcements today, not to mention fighting talk from execs, and now another promising developer has been enlisted by the Japanese giant.

Media Molecule, a new UK-based developer founded by the chaps that brought the world Rag Doll Kung Fu, are hard at work on a brand new title for the PlayStation 3. The exclusive title will actually be published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and will mark a departure from small-time projects like Kung Fu. For this unannounced title, we're promised triple-A quality and a full price to boot.

"The ambition for is to take that a step further and prove that a small and passionate team can deliver a world class, triple-A, next generation product," commented Mark Healey.

A Sony representative added: "Innovation is the key to our shared vision and everyone here at SCEE is highly impressed by Media Molecule's ability to deliver on that vision. We're excited to have extended our partnership on an exclusive basis and look forward to presenting the game publicly in due course."

So there we have it. More. Soon.
