Lego Star Wars and Kameo skins hit Live
Bringing it Home, boys and girls...
The 'Bringing it Home' festivities continue today on Xbox Live, with Microsoft adding a new demo of Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy to the Marketplace for download. The 'Bringing it Home' event is basically a showcase for Xbox Live, and during the period Xbox 360 owners are given special access to content usually only gold members would get their hands-on. The promotion runs until the 29th of September and encompasses the Tokyo Game Show and X06, which commences today in Barcelona.
This playable demo of the acclaimed Lego Star Wars sequel joins a raft of trailers, image packs and more fresh from Tokyo... with much more expected over the coming days as Microsoft kick-off their own dedicated showcase in Europe. So far Lego Star Wars has sold over a million copies, and has been something of a critical darling.
In more Live news, Microsoft have revealed that Rare's Kameo game will be enhanced with 11 new skins, which have been designed by gamers entering a competition running since earlier in the year. The skins for the popular RPG will be available to download from the Xbox 360 Marketplace, and promise to give the game's characters a full 'makeover'. Check out Live for more details.
