It seems strange that only a matter of weeks ago, those console gamers hoping to download a few small games would be limited to just the Live Arcade, whilst now they have three rival services to choose from (at least in North America and Japan). Whilst the continues to be bolstered every Wednesday, and seem to have adopted Monday's to enhance their roster, seem to be adding titles to the Store every couple of days, with Lemmings and Go! Sudoku joining the e-Distribution service today.

Lemmings is a port of the original first crafted by the man who later went on to mastermind the GTA series, and will set US gamers back 5.99 USD. Sony are presently also offering a demo version of the game, so you can try before you buy, much like Xbox Arcade. Go! Sudoku sensibly opts for a different pricing model, hooking you in with free play to be extended via a series of 2.99 USD add-on packs. The easy pack boasts 516 puzzles, the medium option 376, with the Difficult pack offering 198 followed by the 'Fiendish' 98 option.

Games like Blast factor, Eco, and a few others besides are already on the store at various prices... though some of the games currently being offered on the PS3 Store, Arcade and the Virtual Console can be had much more cheaply via various compilation packs for various formats. More on this as we get it, gamers.
