James Bond 007: Nightfire
Well, Mr Bond, we meet again...
It has long been bemoaned that the most faithful and convincing 007 experience, nay, one of the Nintendo 64’s best games, was Rare’s stunning Goldeneye title, which brought the intrigue, humour and sophistication of Britain’s most famous Spy to life in compelling style. With Nightfire, however, EA Games look set to finally challenge this age-old champion, with a game that doesn’t just look like a Bond film, but actually, and crucially, plays like one too.
So what’s the big deal? Well, for starters, and ‘by the wonders of modern technology’ the game will actually star Pierce Brosnan, as his voice and physique will be employed for the benefit of our small-screen Bond, and the delight of the various lady-gamers out there. What’s more, we’re promised an open-ended approach to gameplay, which will allow gamer to use Bond’s cunning to pick the way through levels, using Q’s gadgets, and a trusty Walther PPK. The mission structure is open-ended, leaving plenty of room for creativity.
The game’s launch is scheduled to coincide with the twentieth movie in the Bond franchise “Die Another Day”, which will also be with us come November. "Pierce Brosnan and Bond have created an unbeatable combination for the franchise over the past few years, so we’re excited to have Pierce aboard to help deliver to fans the ultimate Bond experience," enthuses Chip Lange, of EA Marketing. "I am confident that together, Pierce Brosnan, EA and NightFire will make for the most dynamic and appealing Bond game yet."
The developers are promising a highly cinematic feel to the game, too, with a first-person perspective employed in the traditional fashion to add atmosphere and tension, whilst at dramatic moments in the plot the camera will swirl to a Cinema-style third-person perspective to take in the scene.
A number of devious villains will be out to stop Bond, including Drake’s ferocious Ninja’s, highly-armed Scuba divers, and Yakuza gunmen. Gadgets touted include X-ray goggles, PDA-hackers, a Dart-Pen, and Q’s Camera to name but a few. Gearbox are even suggesting the game will rival and beat Medal of Honour in the graphical stakes, a lofty claim, but EA are embracing the very latest hardware with this one.

I'm a fanatic of James Bond and I'm looking for a good James Bond's game and I think I have found it, 007 Nightfire is the best of the best James Bond game. the action,womens,gadgets,cars and weapons are too cool. Everybody if you love James Bond go buy it. It's a really really good GAME!!!
I got the game. aAnd the most challenging thing in the game is to figure out where your objectives are that's what makes it the funnest game around.

I'm a bug bond and will be looking foward to the next bond game. I admit thought that my next computer will be a MAc. so hopefully it will come out on it as long as it sells enought units. BUt a great game none the less.

I think 007 is one of the best first person shooters on the market. If u dont like it u kan go stright to hell. the last one was kind of stupid b/c u couldnt get grenades and those make or break the game sometimes. Multiyplayer is teh only reason y i get teh gaem my self i think that is the number 1 reason y anyone should get the game i suggest getting a multy tap it gives u 4 players and would be a great thing to get for 007 nightfire

My game dosent work for PC. I have a great PC 2 gig, ATI Radion 8500 and a lot of space and every time I hit new game it plays the movie fine but crashes the whole PC. Anyone else have this problem.

Press g then you can cycle through your gadgets and it will tell you when to use them. Also look in the instruction manual

All Bond Moves Video
To see a special video that show cases every Bond Move, beat the last level (Evil Summit) on 00 Agent mode. Right after the ending cinematic, the game will show a video with EVERY Bond Move, level by level.
Since there is no way to re-view the video, except by beating the game again on that difficulty, it's suggested that you take a blank tape and record your Video Input channel (or Channel 3 or 4 for those of you still using the RF stich over -IGN).
