I totally agree with the last post the handling etc is only a "handful" with inexperience although i do think that a wheel and pedals is the way to go. Honestly its great that SOMEONE is making a game for consoles that IS a challenge to drive the cars (F1 is supposed to be the absolute peak of motorsport if my gran could step into it and go then theres probably something wrong!) I havent tried the six axis but it doesnt appeal and I can see how the controller may not be ideal.... Go get pedals etc its the best virtual driving experience I've had!

I have Sega Rally for the arcade feel and GT5 Pro for simulation and have played every other racer on the PS3. I found most of these others to be unrealistic like floating on a magic carpet more like. With steering wheel and peddles the Formula 1 game stands out from the rest and is the most realistic and best looking by far. I agree there is less pretty things to look at and less gimicks but for a real driving feel it really is outstanding. Its also half price at the moment which makes it really good value for money. The only down side is its 2006 so missing a certain driver but I can live with that.
i just want to know can u shift up and down gears with the l1 and r1 buttons, because its impossible 2 drive manual with the l2 and r2 buttons because there like triggers
can some1 help me plz.......
