Having played this game i realy would have to agree with this review almost entirely. The best aspect of ic is definately the creature creation. But i did tire of the single player very quckly. the units and maps are very well animated and the camera is smooth and easy to use with full 360 rotation, which is one up on command and conquer generals with its static map. Yet as a relative RTS noob i would recomend it to those who have not spent years playing C+C as a lot of the fun of the game isn't in the stategy but in the wonderful creature creations you can come up with in your lab. i would rate this game similarly 75%

The first strategy game I can remember playing on a machine was Utopia. But that's just oneups-manship.

Can I just say that Impossible Creatures is the worst game on the planet! I mean pac man is more enjoyable! My brother wasted $58.00 on E-bay just to buy the stupid thing when he could of used that money to buy a Barbie and Ken playset! :-p
Oh yeah Elias dude if you want a good combination here's one an ant with a dragonfly! :-p
This title has been rereleased in Jewel Case.
There is also an insect invasion free expansion which gives webbing and other abilities and loner units

I LOVE IC BUT IT WOULD BE GOOD IF THERE WERE MUTANTS AND OTHER THINGS OR DINOSAURS AND DRAGONS, ELEVES, PIXIES AND THE LIKE
