    As a fan of the previous Metroid titles I'm surprised you didn't make any comment on the altered structure of Fusion i.e. the semi mission based approach and introduction of cutscenes.

    I found both slightly unwelcome, though I can see why they were added, to make the game more open to new players and given its a handheld title, easier to get through with shorter and sporadic play times.

    However I found the missions ‘Go here, do this’ approach cut out one of the more enjoyable aspects of the Metroid series, exploring the environment, acquiring new skills and then sussing out there function which, as you say, results in a distinctly linear experience.

    As for the cutscenes, I found them quite tiresome and rather than adding insight to Samus’s character, I thought they did the opposite through there stereotypical and predictable nature. But then I could go on about this for hours, my opinions of game avatars is more Gordon Freeman than J.C. Denton.

    This game is awesome, the story line is awsome, EVERYTHING METROID IS AWSOME. I never really took interest in the game until 2003 on my 13th birthday I got metroid prime. That was the spark of the fuse. I've been collecting and completeing metroid games ever since. I've nearly completed metroid2 and I'm abit stuck on metroid, but I've completed fusion (which was great) and prime (100%) I've only got to get super metroid to complete my collection.

    This game was fun. I liked fighting the SA-X. He was wimpy though. That game was awesome. My favorite boss beside him is Nightmare. He Rocks. It was hard at first but then it was simple. It was a blast

    what am i suppose to do im at the end of the game and there is an alien dude where my ship is supposedto be and the station crashes witch ends the game?

    THIS GAME ROCKS ! BECAUSE IT IS NOT SOOO EASY
    LIKE OTHER GAMES AND IS INTERESTING . IT IS PRETTY COOL WITH SAMUS' FIRST TIME GETTING INFECTED BY A VIRUS. AS A TRUE METROID FAN, I THINK THIS GAME IS SO COOL BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND!
