I remember an article way back that previewed WH: MoC and apparently Namco went up to Black Hole and asked if they could make a game engine similar to Relic's Dawn of War. Black Hole said they could make an "even better" engine than DoW.
It was laughable then and it's even more laughable now! How could the rejects working at Black Hole think they could compete with the gamesmiths they have over in Relic?
The game looks OK in screenshots but the animations are just horrid. I mean yeah... DULL. There's no *crunch* when two armies class... like they're fighting with pillows. It was a horrible game and I'm glad it failed.
The game itself looks good but i dont know about you but the game and the cutscenes remind me of warcraft 3. when i saw the screenshots it looked great but the animations are bad i would still give it a good rating tho but would never compoare it in the top 5 cos there are too much better looking and better strategies out there.

How can you review a game that isn't even released yet?

ok seriously you critics are the reason they stop making more expansions warhammer mark of chaos was awsome, so i believe this one will be fun aswell with new races but still pretty anoying to see how someone just writes alot of crap and tries to throw trash at the game developers, all in this article is all about the things that is bad jeez play the game to the end then re write

Okay, I'll admit, I'm biased towards this game; not only am I a recovered Warhammer geek, but I still love the universe. That said, yeah, this game has problems. Crooooooow sums up the problem with combat well. But what it comes down to is that this is, almost exactly, Shadow of the Horned Rat updated. That means a lot to those of us who played that game. For one, it means a multiplayer system of beautifully complete army building, sieges, and even repeated multiplayer battles with heroes advancing. I'd like to see come close combat animations worthy of DoW, but hey, I'll take whatever I can get.

I've been plying Warhammer since the early 90's. I wanted so much to like this game; but, the review above is spot on, if not, a bit generous.
