Strangely, I enjoyed it. Didn't think I would, but I did. More than MGS4 actually.
Interesting take, I happen to follow all forms of motorsport including Formula 1. I find it interesting that people look at nascar and just assume that it is as simple as it looks. I also can't help but wonder how many of these reviewers that bad mouth nascar played the game with all of the assists turned on so as not to look like an idiot when they hit the wall cause you know that can't happen when all your doing is going around in circles right. I bet my buddy who had a similar theory 50 bucks that he could not SURVIVE not win a race on hard with no assists using a steering wheel. Needless to say I am 50 dollars richer and laughing at those who are foolish enough to underestimate this sport.
Oh yeah and by the way you can call nascar dull, boring, or whatever you euro types want to cause I know we can't have those THRILLING 0-0 ties that is common place in your version of football

I know, I kind of wish I hadn't jumped on the "Cliche anti-Nascar banter" band-wagon, but I did. This is a gamer's perspective, not an enthusiasts perspective. It'd be the same deal with Pro-Fishing or Virtual Mountain Climber; I'm a jounalist dammit Jim!

this game is fun, but online is no fun. i was racing at tallegada and people was doing laps under 45
boo hoo. racing online is NO fun at all because you raced one time and someone was doing 45?? come on.
doesn't anything intelligent come out of peoples mouths anymore?? i've been playing this game all night and I can tell you that it's the best Nascar game ever produced. don't like Nascar? then don't buy it and let those who DO like Nascar have fun without YOU!! :)
