Why so late, Sam? Many have already completed it more than one time and forgotten about it.
Ice, it took me a while longer to recover from New Year's then I expected. Plus, I've always been a believer in 'better late then never', much to Luke's chagrin ;-)
Is it not better that we get a balanced, considered view after a few weeks than a rushed opinion based on a few hours play?
Plus, there's only a few of us, only so many hours in the day and far too many games to be played... I too have a review pile sitting on my desk demanding my attention, but life is hectic ;-)

Yes, don't forget that there are some of us out there who appreciate the work you are doing, Sam (and Ben). To my knowledge, Ferrago has Ben, Sam, Luke and maybe one or two more guys. LOL..I can only imagine the workload that you have.
Also, nice review, but i guess i'll pass....saving up money for PSP :)

Thx for review. But imo the game is not so great, gets too repetitive after some time though it takes longer to get bored of UG2 compared to UG1. In the end however, the urge to complete the game to the end is missing.

After completing 50% of the game, it gets way to difficult with unavoidable obstacles that cause you to crash. Cars are around blind corners and are positioned to crash in to you. Restart a race, and the same cars move and re-align with your path!
Unavoidable obstacles ruin this game. It really takes away all the fun when you do a race 10+ times and still can't win with a fast car and skilled driving.

I know that you get messages saying where the hidden races are but I've finished all the races on the map and i ain't getting no messages telling me where the secret races are anymore. Don't know why. I found some hidden races but i can't find any more and im a bit stuck. i even done the suv ones. any ideas?

this game is awsome
ok i have a huge problem. i am at 98% through the game. i just spent 30 minutes driveing around looking for hidden races and or hidden money. i finished all the races from the would map. and the other racers wont say anything to me about hidden races. so now im just looking for all the hidden money and i found three that i didnt find and im still at 98 percent.
you know what its so hard to beat the game and those real racers. You have to beat like 20 URL races and like 60 circut races and like 35 drag racers and 20 drifts.And thats realy hard to everyone.

Hey all, i am 25% into the game on NFSU2 and i got no money.. and i accedently traded my good car for a stock one so i started a new one then waisted all my money now i need a 3 star car whick i dont have and i appeared to have finished all the races, the voice message comes up go to the ciry center and there will be some sort of a race, i looked every in the city ctre and every else no race.. i need money to get a car lol so i was wondering if some of you guys could help me out here, thx

to find hidden races go to diffrent sections of the map and go to the screen that tells you your status and it will say what races are missing

I've beat this game before for gc and its pretty addictive. I wish they were a little more descriptive on the hidden races and had more upgrades like on Midnight Club: DUB edition. I've played many racing games in my life (being the fact that im in my mid-teens). I give it a 8/10.

if anyone wants to make the game easier go to options career easy its a lot easyier i got a 10 star car all level 3 everything engin accents split doors hoods and 100 percent parts unlocked
