Spider-Man
Spidey hits the PC running, or should that be crawling?
"He spins a web, swings across the sky and lands with a somersault onto the Daily Bugle building.

That was how Activision introduced me to their Spider-Man PC game, via the deviously worded spiel on the back of the box. Fortunately, it's quite accurate too, for as you may have already guessed, spider-Man for the PC will have you doing rather a lot of the above-mentioned.
So what's it all about then? Well, Spider-Man is a third-person action-adventure title developed for comic book giants Marvel. Bringing the world of Parker to fans of the comic strip globally; for there can't be many a lad that hasn't enjoyed a Spider-Man yarn in his life. The gameplay focuses mainly on the combat-element of Spidey's job, and as such Activision have produced a very involving experience. The player can battle all manner of seedy criminals and gangsters using his Spider-Man's special abilities such as web-spinning and climbing. There's also an element of the beat-em-up in there, as Spiderman has a variety of kicks, punches and special moves at his disposal too.
