Well, I think it is fair to say that this is a turn up for the books.
It was going to happen sometime soon... i'm just glad my loyalty to FIFA paid of better than it did to my club.

Indeed. I, for one, found this review to be extremely clear and concise and to the point...unlike some of the biased sides taken by some EU Gaming Sites (read: Eurogamer when they gave the first FIFA on the 360 a 1/10). Nice job, guys. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ferrago has got a do-over with new staff, site, etc. Keep up the work, fellas!

I've always hated FIFA since the arrival of PES, so I bought Pro Evo 6 for Xbox 360 and it was terrible, Konami really shot themselves in the head by releasing such a rushed title. I traded it for FIFA 07 and it was the right choice. Although FIFA still needs to improve the realism of shooting (one on ones don't feel like real football, although volleys and snapshots are top drawer) and still improve some dribbling mechanics.
Next gen FIFA is better than next gen PES... that's coming from a FIFA hater.

I've got both games and Pro Evo on the pc or PS2 is vastly superior. FIFA has improved but it still gets boring after a while. The depth of gameplay in the Pro Evolution series is unmatchable. To say that FIFA has overtaken is frankly laughable. It depends whether you play games for the gameplay or are more concerned with asthetics and gimmmickery.
The review doesn't say FIFA 07 is "vastly superior" to Pro Evo 6--it wasn't available at the time of the review--however, it IS clearly superior to Pro Evo 5. And based on critical feedback on Pro Evo 6, FIFA may well be the better option.

95%??? You cant have played pes6 yet. Fifa may have better modes and presentation, but the RAW GAMEPLAY of pes6 fast surpasses that of Fifa 07. Try playing pes6 for a few hours then go back to Fifa afterwards. Im not saying the gameplay hasnt been vastly improved since last years edition, but pes gameplay still outclasses Fifa's

I am playing WE last 4 years and now fifa 2007 is so much better than WE 10 dudes ! most important thing that i will say is in WE 10 goalkeepr is crapy and stupid! Whille in fifa 2007 goal keeper is more better and more realystic! and game play is better to! in one word Fifa 1-0 Winning Eleven
I was womdering if there is an football simulation pc game which consists of creatin your own player and make him the star if tomorrow.Kind of RPG.And the user could only control himself(1 of 11 players on the field).If somebody know such kind of game please let me know
i can agree big time. the graphics are s*** although almost every shot i do from long range goes in. in the shops they make it look better than what it actually is.

seriously? u guys like pro evo????????? that's the worst game ever! fifa is anyday better than that useless exucse for a game. in pro veo, i go to the english premier league and manchester united and liverpool are missing. this is the case for many other teams in other leagues. i'm telling you pro evo is the game played by those who can't play real soccer!!! fifa rocks!
